Course Description: The course provides an introduction to the basic principles of Epidemiology with emphasis on studies undertaken in the field of kinesiology. Topics include: understanding of different study designs, analytic methods used, validity, outbreak investigation, diagnostic tests and causation.

KINE 3640: Epidemiology of Physical Activity, Fitness and Health
Course Description: This course provides an in-depth assessment of the Epidemiology of Physical Activity, Fitness and Health. General concepts of epidemiology are covered, as well as associations among activity, exercise, fitness and disease/risk factors.

KAHS 6400: Epidemiology of Physical Activity, Fitness and Health
Course Description: Interrelationships among activity, fitness, and health are examined from an epidemiologic perspective. Current topics in dose-response, emerging issues in measurement, and perspectives on sedentary physiology are compared and contrasted.
